How do I book?

How much notice do I need to give to hire a castle?

You can book any time however bookings get very busy during the school holidays / COMMUNITY EVENTS so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Alternatively you can contact us on the day, as we may have availability.

What do the prices include?

All booking prices include delivery, set-up and collection of equipment.

When are your bouncy castles available?

Our castles are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all year round including Bank Holidays.

How long do I get the equipment for?

You will get the equipment for a whole day or only for a few hours - the choice is yours but the price will be the same (short term hires still involve the same labour costs for us as long term hires). Our aim is to deliver and collect at a time suitable to your event. The earliest we can deliver is 7am and the latest we can pickup is dependent on the time of year. In the winter months we need to collect the castles before it get too dark but in the summer months our latest pickup for a castle is usually by 7.30pm.

Do you hire overnight?

Yes, we will hire our equipment overnight (provided the location is secure) for a small extra charge of £40.00. You must ensure that there is sufficient lighting if using the equipment after sunset. Please be aware that a £100.00 deposit is required for all overnight hires. This deposit will be returned to you provided that the equipment has been folded and stored correctly and that the equipment has not been left out to become wet. We will provide you with full instructions on how to store the equipment overnight. You need to be aware that if you do not follow the instructions fully and the equipment is wet then not only will you have spoilt the party for the next hirer of the equipment, you will forefit your deposit. We will need to cancel the hire for the next person, inflate it and dry it out. Please act responsibly and leave the equipment in a condition that you would expect to receive it if you were the next hirer!

Do I have to pay a deposit?
A deposit is not normally required unless you are hire the Bucking Bronco, Bungee or Swingboats or if you are booking a lot of equipment, or if you are hiring out equipment overnight.

How do I pay?

We accept BACS Payments or you can pay via PayPal using a paypal account or a credit / debit card. Information on how to pay will be explained in our confirmation email. Minimum delivery price is £125.00 to qualify for free delivery.

What if I need to cancel?

For Bouncy Castles you can cancel at anytime up to 24hours before your party date but we ask that you give us as much notice as possible so that we can hire out your castle to someone else. Please note that a 10% admin fee will be retained for any cancellations on all bookings if a refund if requested. If no notice is given you may incur a cancellation fee (ie cancellation on the day for any reason other than bad weather conditions or if we are on our way or have arrived at the destination.) For large equipment such as the Carousel, Bungee, Swingboats etc we have more a more formal cancellation policy. Because the equipment requires a lot of set up etc and there are only limited dates for it's use we reserve the right to charge cancellation fees based on the length of time until the party start date as follows: Up to 1 month - 25%. Up to 2 weeks - 50%. Up to Up to 1 week - 75%. Less than 1 week: 100%

What if it rains or is extremely windy?

Bouncy Castles Only: No charge is made for any cancellation due to bad weather. It is not desirable to hire castles in wet conditions or when it is extremely windy. Most of our castles have rain covers (if you require a rain cover please state this when booking the castle), which will be suitable for light rain showers or drizzle, but not heavy downpours of rain (the rain cover will sag in the middle and start to drip through!) If you wish to cancel your booking due to bad weather conditions please give us as much notice as possible, preferably before 9am on the day.

Can the bouncy castle be set up on a slope?

It is not desirable to unless it is a very slight slope. If you are unsure we will always visit your garden to advise you prior to the booking.

Does the castle need to be set up on grass only?

It is most desirable to set up inflatables on grass but not always necessary. A castle can be set up on concrete or tarmac but this will have to be discussed beforehand - hard abrasive surfaces are not great for the Castles. It is you the hirer's responsibility to notify us by email if you wish the inflatable to be set up on any surface other than grass. We will usually arrange for a site vis to ensure this is possible - if so then we will need to provide thick groundsheets and we will need to drill thunderbolts into the hard surface to anchor the inflatable down safely.

How long does it take to set up/inflate/deflate/pack up the inflatable?

The bouncy castles take approx 10 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack up. However this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on which castle you hire and the ease of access to the proposed site.

Can the bouncy castle be inflated indoors?

Yes, our bouncy castles can be inflated indoors - we will provide sandbags to hold the bouncy castle down. You will need to check the ceiling height of the venue and just let us know. (See the Party Venue Hire section to see a list of halls, venues etc)

How much space is needed?

You will need to allow adequate space around all sides of the castle (including overhanging tree branches) - if you are in any doubt as to whether you have enough space please discuss this when booking as we can come to visit the proposed site prior to booking. You will also need to provide adequate access to the site, the castles are delivered on a sack barrow so 3ft minimum width is required. If access is through your property please let us know when booking the castle. We cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred whilst wheeling the castle though your home.

When I hire the castle is there anything I need to provide?

We supply all you will need for the castle. All you will need to provide is a 240 volts mains power supply (a normal domestic socket). If you do not have a power supply for the castle you will need to hire a generator, which we can supply for an extra £45. You will also need to ensure that the proposed site for the castle is free from debris/garden furniture/children’s toys and most importantly dog/cat mess.

Is there an age limit for children using the castle?

Yes, all our junior castles are suitable for children up to and including the age of eleven. For anyone over this age you will need to hire an adult castle. The reason for this is that Adult Castles are reinforced and double stitched to allow for extra weight. Adults using a children’s castle may result in damage to the castle, with the cost of repair / replacement being charged to the hirer.

Do you have Insurance?

Yes, £5m, but it is important that the hirer appreciates what this means. PLI (Public Liability Insurance) covers ourselves against loss, damage or injury caused by inappropriate or unsafe set-up, or faulty equipment. It DOES NOT protect against loss, damage or injury caused through either negligent use of the equipment, or altering any aspect of the set-up after delivery, or through normal use where accidents may occur. If you would like to come under our umbrella of insurance then we can (given sufficient prior notice) provide a member of staff to supervise the Bouncy Castle for the duration of the hire. This service is obviously chargeable - please contact us for a quote.

What are my responsibilities?

You are responsible for the security of the equip,end for the duration of the hire, provision of a safe electricity supply, safe operation of the equipment as per our "Operating Instructions" and Constant Adult Supervision. If you feel that you are unable to provide constant adult supervision then, given sufficient notice (normally minimum 7 days notice and subject to staffing availability) we can provide supervision for you (this is a chargeable service - please contact us for more details).

Are you a member of any trade organisations?

Yes, we are members of TIPE - The Inflatable Play Enterprise - An industry leading association promoting safe inflatable play.

Please note that we reserve the right to cancel a booking if the hirer has supplied false or incorrect details in order to reserve an inflatable.
